When it comes to full-on glamour, Joan Collins certainly doesn't disappoint.

The actress is currently at the Cannes Film Festival promoting her latest film The Time of Their Lives, and attended a photocall in the French town yesterday.

While the windy weather didn't do much for Joan's curly hair (although we reckon she pulled off the glamourous windswept look pretty well), her make-up stayed immaculate.

We can reveal what make-up she used to get her pretty in pink look - her own brand!

The actress launched her own beauty brand Joan Collins Timeless Beauty earlier this year, which includes make-up and a perfume, 'I Am Woman'.

Joan wore the Divine Lips Lipstick in Lady Joan, £18, and Nail Lacquer in Melanie, £13. The collection is currently available at QVC.

Looking good, Joan!

Forever Beautiful: So, Joan what's
your advice?By Elsa Mcalonan

Every Monday, Elsa answers a reader's big beauty query and presents the best buys to perk up your week...
This week, our most glamorous national treasure, Joan Collins, is helping me tackle your queries. Joan believes it’s every woman’s right to look and feel fabulous, whatever her age. Here, exclusively, she shares her advice . . .
Do you have any tips for making my brows look thicker? My natural shade was dark brown, but the colour is fading now and I can’t find a good, natural-looking shade of eye pencil.
Margaret, 64, Cheshire
Joan Collins with her new make up collectionTimeless Beauty

JOAN SAYS: When I worked in Hollywood, I was taught many beauty tips by Marilyn Monroe’s make-up artist Allan Snyder. He told me to always keep eyebrow pencils pin sharp and to use two different shades — one on top of the other — to build up a natural, full-looking brow.
I thought of this when I created the Contour Eyebrow Pencil Duo (£14) — each double-ended pencil has two shades. Use short strokes of each to get naturally thicker-looking brows.
ELSA SAYS: Other clever brow products include Collection’s Work The Colour Eyebrow Kit (£3.99, Superdrug), a palette that contains three shades of brow powder and  a clear gel to tame stray hairs. Lancome’s new double-ended eyebrow pencil, Le Sourcils Pro (£18.50, lancome.co.uk) has a matte crayon shade on one end for filling in brows, and a highlighter at the other to bring out the brow bones and emphasise their shape.
There are so many products around — serums, primers, moisturisers — and I worry about clogging up my skin. I’m 39 and my pores get easily blocked, causing blackheads and spots. Which should I use?
Samantha, 39, Liverpool.
Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Divine Lips lipsticks

JOAN SAYS: First of all, an effective cleanser is a must-have so that all the daily grime and make-up is removed. This is something my mother taught me in my teens, using Pond’s Institute Cold Cream (£4.57, Boots).
Now, I use my Scrupulous Cleanser, £30, before toning and moisturising. I love to wear glamorous make-up and I believe that foundation helps to protect skin from sun and pollution.
ELSA SAYS: Consider Eau Thermale Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser (£8, Boots). For a light moisturiser, try Korres Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturiser (£20, Tesco) and, as a base, I like Kiehl’s Correcting And Beautifying BB Cream (£23, kiehls.co.uk), which has SPF50 and won’t clog pores.
I am 72 and have had thin hair for many years (due to a previously undiagnosed underactive thyroid). Are hair pieces viable for someone like me?

Stephanie, 72 (by email)

JOAN SAYS: Absolutely. I often wear them. The most important thing is to choose a good quality hairpiece in the most flattering style for your face shape — round faces should look for height at the crown and layers, square faces suit styles that lengthen the face, heart shapes should look to add volume at the chin and almost any style suits an oval face.
You are never too old to redefine your image and look fabulous!
ELSA SAYS: I am impressed by Joan’s Dynasty wig collection. There’s a fabulous one called St Tropez with a chic hairband and even one called Elsa (which was Joan’s mother’s name). From £95, naturalimagewigs.co.uk.

Do you have any tips for  looking good after a long-haul flight? I never seem to wear the right clothes and always arrive looking as tired as I feel. Any suggestions  gratefully received!
Marion, 54, London

JOAN SAYS: I constantly travel long-haul and it can dehydrate skin. I remove all my make-up and moisturise my face and hands every few hours.
I travel in loose black or grey cashmere trousers, a loose top and a blazer. I make sure to put on lipstick when I come off the plane — from my Divine Lip (£18) range — dark glasses and a fedora.
ELSA SAYS: My in-flight essentials include Lanolips Antibacterial Hand Cream (£8.99, Waitrose), which kills 99.9 per cent of bacteria, as well as moisturising skin with lanolin and aloe vera to help keep germs at bay.

PRESS FLASHBACK :THE MAIL .. WHY I ADORE THE COTE D'AZUR...MAY 2010..

Why I absolutely adore the Cote D'Azur: Joan Collins on the sunshine, style and enduring glamour of the French Riviera

The French Riviera is the place to see and be seen - and nobody knows that more than legendary actress and style icon Joan Collins. Since her first visit in her teens, St Tropez has held a place in her heart, leading to frequent trips for good food, great company and that glorious feeling of sand between her toes...

As Joan is currently in the South of France for the Cannes Film Festival,, thought I would feature this great little Mail article from 2010...
I first visited the French Riviera as a teenager and thought I’d died and gone to heaven.
It was the most dazzling, beautiful, exciting, glamorous place I’d ever seen (not that I was that well travelled then.)
I have visited many places since that first trip but, to me, the Riviera still has a magical charm that nowhere else can emulate.
My heart still accelerates when that jet zooms low over the bay of Nice, on its final approach to the aptly named Cote d’Azur, and it has nothing to do with the pilot’s manoeuvres.
The Riviera is a place of sublime contrasts. Running from San Remo, past the principality of Monaco, almost to Marseille, at the other end of the coast, each village, town and beach has its individual charm.
The villages have looked the same for hundreds of years yet some of the larger towns - stately Monaco for one, or the grand old city of Nice, with their stunning boardwalks, splendid hotels, superb shops and restaurants - have seamlessly combined the best of modern architecture with 19th century grandeur.
Capital of chic: Joan Collins first discovered St Tropez as a star-struck teenager
But for me, there’s no place like St Tropez. That humble and holy name conjures up an idyllic paradise where hedonists reign and wealth and beauty conquer all.
How fitting then that it was named after a Christian martyr beheaded by Nero.
The myth of Saint Tropez is known worldwide, but actually its reputation is not old, relatively speaking. Although the sleepy little village has existed for thousands of years, it wasn't until the 1950s that this seductive spot started hitting the headlines, thanks to sex kitten Brigitte Bardot, the most nubile of post-war stars, and her husband Roger Vadim.
They discovered the delights of the nearby beaches of Pampelonne - then almost inaccessible thanks to the thick brush of parasol pines and tangled seaweed - but now a mecca to people all over the world who love good food, a wonderful ambience and gorgeous weather.
Most people think of St Tropez beaches as filled with topless maidens (and matrons), heavy hitters and sex.
That certainly goes on in some of the more decadent beaches such as the Voile Rouge, where groups of rich merchants think nothing of paying €10,000 for a Jeroboam of champagne, which they then liberally squirt over their squealing, scantily-clad lady friends.
Lunches at some of these beaches begin around 3pm and rarely finish before 8 or 9pm, complete with floor shows and fashion parades of the flimsiest beachwear and wild, uninhibited dancing on the tables and bars to the heaviest of rap beats – it’s non-stop decadence and, I have to admit, lots of fun.
The opposite of the Voile Rouge is the extremely chic Club 55, known also as 'Cinquante Cinq' (or to some Americans as 'Sank-on-sank'), where I am bound to see loads of people I know, and loads of people I’ve been avoiding all year.
The food is simple and sublime: the best artichoke vinaigrette and salade nicoise. If it gets too hot, an automatic spraying device springs to life across the restaurant to cool the patrons off, which invariably makes me feel like a vegetable on display at Waitrose.
The antithesis of '55' and Voile Rouge is a terrific little beach restaurant called Plage des Graniers, right in the heart of St. Tropez village and on the seashore.
It’s a secret only I and the French seem to know about (so far, so good.) There is nothing quite as sublime as lunching with the sand between your toes and the crystal water lapping at your feet.  It’s simple, down to earth and as far from the perceived St Tropez as it possibly gets.
Another little known secret is the hotel at the uber-famous Plage de Tahiti. It's very small, with only 13 rooms, and is very exclusive - but not as expensive as one would imagine compared to the rest of the hotels in the area.
Known as the oldest surviving beach restaurant in the Pampelonne beach, Natalie Wood and I stayed there in the Sixties, and I was amazed when, last summer, 'Madame Felix', widow of the patron, presented me with one of Natalie's earrings, which she had lost when we checked out.
A few of my friends shacked up there last summer and considered it divine.
Other lovely places to stay in the area are the Hotel Baou, in the charming village of Ramatuelle, and the Villa Marie. Both boast superb cooking and the ambience and surrounding areas are quaint and picturesque. I particularly love the pool at the Villa Marie.
Pampelonne Beach
The place to be: Brigitte Bardot was the first star to discover the joys of Pampelonne Beach
As for shopping, the market every Tuesday and Saturday at the Place des Lices is a fabulous bustling bazaar where you can find everything from antiques to artichokes and cheese to cheese-cloth shirts.
It's pure heaven to spend hours strolling the stalls followed by a relaxed, delicious lunch.
At the other end of the scale, Senso jewelers on the Rue Gambetta has the most elegant, stylish avant-garde costume jewelry, so much like the real thing it is impossible to distinguish.
And my personal favourite is Olivier Strelli, a chic and sophisticated store on the Rue Francois Sibilli, for women with conservative tastes who still want to look fashionable and au courant.

The restaurant I most frequent is the Auberge de La Mole in the village of La Mole (30-minute drive from St Tropez), which features the most gastronomically superb five-course set menu anywhere in the area.
The first and second courses consist of five distinct pates, served in large tubs which you are welcome to indulge in to your hearts content (but do pace yourself), followed by either frogs legs, salade des crevettes or omelette au cepes.
Ramatuelle Provence
Pretty as a picture: Ramatuelle is just one of the historic villages dotted along the Cote d'Azur
There are only two main courses on offer. But the deceptively simple menu includes the most delicious magret of duck or, my personal favorite, Tournedous Rossini, a tender filet topped with seared foie gras, and both accompanied by the most succulent potato pie the world has ever known.
Then of course there's the cheese, a selection of which will leave your head spinning, followed by, if you can fit it in, five large tubs of dessert (which again you can indulge in at leisure), of which the chocolate mousse is the most original and delicious I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
There is so much more to tell about this rich area but, after a dinner of that magnitude, there is nothing you will want to do but sleep peacefully, dreaming of the incredible variety that this sublime part of the world can offer.

Powder Brush

There are to apply loose powder many ways, but the most beautiful is usually the finish when the focus of a professional brushes used in a standard size. The brush included here in this set is made of fine, silky soft goat hair, which is for optimal color absorption and a smooth, even application, known. Joan Collins Impeccable Finish Loose Powder
The Impeccable Finish & Brush Duo from the Timeless Beauty line of Joan Collins includes 16g Impeccable Finish Loose Powder and matching Powder Brush.
costs per point Duo: about 39,00 €.

The advantages of the Impeccable Finish Powder Overview

  • Silky, transparent texture.
  • Fixes the primer.
  • Translucent formulation.
  • Adapts to your own skin tone.
  • Natural finish.
  • Dermatologically tested.

My personal review:

Loose powder - with me for many years in continuous use. Namely, almost every morning. At least but almost always when I'm wearing foundation. Because with a beautiful powder fixed to a primer now times very, very good. And since I have a fairly oily skin that begins to shine quickly, powder is faithfully at my side for many years. However, in these years, I have of course also the different products of very different brands tried. From very expensive to extremely cheap everything was there. But I have to honestly say, in a loose powder, it is worthwhile to invest a few more euros. These are mostly from the finish her even finer, more natural and more luxurious.
My newest baby is a little while since the Impeccable Finish Loose Powder by Joan Collins from the Timeless Beauty Collection. This loose powder comes in a set with a professional powder brush: And that's a good thing, because with a good powder brush the order of a loose powder is only really nice perfect.
The Impeccable finish there is only one "color", but do not worry. This nuance to every skin tone fits perfectly, because the texture is light as a breath and absolutely translucent, so as good as transparent. One can recognize so already, that it is tinted skin color, but after application to the skin of which is in itself nothing more to see.
The texture of this powder is amazing fine and almost silky. You feel just between your fingertips, how luxurious it feels this powder. And precisely for this reason, this powder also contributes as pleasant on the skin. Very fine, light-reflecting pigments ensure a natural finish. Shiny skin are visible matted, dull skin are moved skillfully in the right light. But most importantly, the primer is optimally fixed.
But not only the powder itself is great, even the jars in which the powder is is awesome. You can open this jar good, but you can also remove the protective sheet and use the pre-made holes to dispense the powder. The lid is a nice big mirror and inside the jar is also a small powder puff, which serves as the cover of the holes, but can actually be used to order this powder. For instance, who has an oily T-zone, which I can only recommend to apply the powder there with a tassel, and only then to remove small surpluses with the powder brush.
Otherwise you can the powder with the powder brush that comes with this powder, very good Apply. Best to always untern so that create the fine facial hair from the top to. And even with this powder, the moth is considered, less is more. This powder is so beautiful fine that even a very small amount is enough to treat the entire face with powder optimally.
I myself am surprised at this powder. Okay, he brushed my very oily skin now not so extreme, but the finish is wonderfully silky. One senses in itself is not that you wear powder, especially it does not look like it. That's why I think this powder is also designed for women who abstain because of their dry skin prefer to powder.
Above all, I can also say that this loose powder ideal for Flawless Collection fits of Joan Collins from the Timeless Beauty Collection. But what I really like about this loose powder: With his skin never looks "totmattiert" out or appear dull. Even the finish of a delicate, slightly glowigen Foundation remains. Nevertheless, oily and shiny skin are reported in their place, because after the application of this powder the face looks very harmonious and balanced. In addition, the pore size significantly finer and the skin relief works even.

Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Makeup Review – with video....

Review by Ceri Wheeldon
It’s easy to get into the habit of always buying the same makeup brands – but sometimes it’s good to try something a little different – and personally I like to try new products from the smaller brands – in my mind they do fewer products really well, and as they have less to spend on marketing the quality of the product has to speak for itself.
I have written previously about the admiration I have for Joan Collins setting up her own make -up line and the energy and commitment she demonstrated in launching it would put most women half her age to shame.
But what about the products?
Well I haven’t tried them all, but I have tried a selection of lipsticks – and the under-eye concealer.

Video Review of Joan Collins MakeUp

JOA24006COMP1_Divine-Lips-Lipstick-Melanie-Violet-85x300The Lipstcks
I tried 3 colours: Fontaine, Sadie and Melanie
I have to say that I was a bit worried about trying the purple one- and I haven’t tried purple lipstick since I was a teenager -but in fact once its applied it’s a lovely shade of pink , thank goodness!
I have found over the last couple of years that many lipsticks have a really drying effect on my lips. I found the opposite with these. They had a really good moisturising effect. They lasted well too and I didn’t need to reapply as often during the day. I also applied the lip gloss to the centre of my lips – to create the illusion of fuller lips. It wasn’t at all sticky so again a winner.
Cost £18 for the lipsticks and £18 for the lip gloss ( I had Too Hot To Handle)

JOA22000comp_Fade-to-Perfect-Concealer-Fair1Concealer:  Fade to Perfect
I suffer from dreadful dark circles -  products like touche eclat, which are really designed to highlight rather than conceal aren’t the right consistency for me – and I tend to look like a pander in reverse by the time I apply enough product to cover the circles – and most heavier concealers are too drying, and tend to sink into the fine lines around me eyes.
The concealer in Joan’s product is both a concealer and skincare product combined. It calms puffy eyes and helps to plump out fine lines and is extremely moisturising.. So with active ingredients including Butchers Broom, Horse Chestnut, Liquorice  as well as concealing, it actually helps to reduce dark circles over time. I really liked this – it will be a permanent fixture in my make-up bag. At £17 it is competitively priced – especially taking into account that it does more than just conceal...
